SOFTBRICK

Privacy

In force since 22 August 2026

Short version: this site sets no cookies, has no forms and builds no profiles. It counts visits anonymously and in aggregate, and nothing more. If you never write to us, we hold no data about you.

Who is responsible

The controller of the personal data described on this page is Softbrick, Lda, company registration (NIPC) 519595270, with registered offices at Rampa Dr. Barreto, 9000-688 Funchal, Portugal. For any privacy matter, write to geral@softbrick.pt.

Cookies

None. This site places no cookies on your device, neither first nor third party, and uses no local storage, tracking pixels or browser fingerprinting. That is why you will see no consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to.

Visitor statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting company. It counts visits, page views, country and device type — always in aggregate, never per person.

It sets no cookies on your device, does not store your IP address, and does not follow you across sites or between visits. We cannot tell who you are, nor recognise you if you come back. We do not use Google Analytics.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding whether this site is of any use (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Since nothing is stored on your device, there is no consent to ask for — which is why there is still no cookie banner here.

Fonts

Fonts are served from softbrick.pt. They are bundled into the site at build time, and at no point are requests made to third-party servers — Google included. Your IP address is not exposed to anyone this way.

Hosting logs

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider which, for technical and security reasons, keeps automatic records of incoming requests — typically IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type. We do not consult those logs to analyse visitors and do not cross-reference them with anything else.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you write to us

If you email geral@softbrick.pt, we hold your address, your name (if you give it) and the content of your message. We use this only to reply and to follow up on the matter you raised.

The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to those who contact us (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep correspondence while the matter is live and for up to three years afterwards, then delete it.

Who we share with

Nobody, for commercial purposes. We do not sell, rent or otherwise transfer personal data. The only third parties that touch this data are the providers required for the site to work and for us to receive email — hosting (which also provides the aggregate statistics above) and email service — acting as processors and only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Softbrick products

This policy covers only the softbrick.pt website. The company’s products have their own policies, because they process data differently and far more extensively. For iBetterCoach, see the legal documents at ibettercoach.com/legal.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of the page. We do not keep old versions online; if you need to know what it said on a given date, ask us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, write to geral@softbrick.pt. We reply within one month. If you believe we handled the matter poorly, you may complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (cnpd.pt).
